What is the difference between A H Francis lashes and traditional false lashes?

Designed to thicken and lengthen the client’s natural eyelashes, Lash Extensions are nothing like “traditional false lashes” which are produced in clumps of about 5 or 6 and are stuck to the client’s eyelashes with self-adhesive and last a couple of days.

Lash Extensions are individual lashes and last for weeks. Made to be identical to natural lashes the lash base is flat and the lash tip is fine and polished, just like real lashes.

With our technique Lash Extensions are applied directly to the client’s own lash, one extension to one natural lash. This is repeated until the client has a full set of Lash Extensions creating the illusion of fuller, thicker more defined lashes. It is of paramount importance that you train to become a professional and certified technician.

How long should a treatment take?

For an experienced technician, the procedure takes approximately 45-60 minutes, maintenance procedures are recommended every 2-3 weeks.

Is there a maintenance requirement?

Like your nails and the hair on your head, your individual eyelashes grow out on a continuous cycle of replenishment. The average cycle is about 90 days. While some individual eyelash extensions may last for weeks, to ideally maintain the thickness and fullness and for best results, we recommend you to top up about every 2-3 weeks. The cost of this again depends on the factors listed above.

Even if I don’t have many lashes myself, can a full look be achieved?

We have a number of different lash application techniques that can give even sparse lashes a full look.  Unfortunately lash extensions cannot be applied to alopecia sufferers as you need to have some lashes to attach the extensions to.

What type of tweezers are best for eyelash extensions?

The main consideration is that your tweezers are light and the pointed ends sit together perfectly. The only thing that will really speed up your technique is skill which comes with practice and fast drying glue.

What is the Audrey Hepburn Sweep?

Just a few lashes on the outside corners of the eyes looks fantastic, it takes just 30 minutes. This look is ideal to sell to those clients who do not wish to commit to ongoing maintenance, clients who would like to try the treatment or simply for a one off occasion.
