Well I’ve eaten my body weight in strawberries and persisted in wearing linen, but to no avail. It is cold and wet, such a shame. Soggy wedge espadrilles are no fun to wear I can tell you ‘squigging’ my way around M&S looking at the summer salads and ending up buying warming soup. Miss M is back in opaque tights I see, as I look longingly at her long line cardigan, I am trying to keep up my optimism in the hope that it will get better.
One thing to cheer me up is the arrival of our new ‘O’ lashes. Have you tried them? I thought they would be too much for me but I am pleasantly surprised, the best way to describe then is that they are curlier than a ‘C’ curl, they give a lovely lift to the eyes a more wide awake look. So pretty, thank the Lord for that, if I’m going to have to wear woollens at least I can have summery lashes. Actually get in quick if you like them, the Lash Lady has said we are to put them in the training kits!
