Eyelash Extension Training
Don't be confused by companies offering different levels of certification! Your main investment is time and not hundreds of pounds on workshops - remember 'practice is the best of all instructors!' Certificates do not make you a master, dedication and practice does. However many workshops you attend unless you practice you will never become an expert.
Your Journey to an A H Francis Lashes Master Technician
Phase 1
- 1/2 day Home Study
- 1 full day workshop
- Theory Exam
- 5 Case studies
- Certification to practice for insurance purposes
Phase 2
"When you are not practicing, remember, someone somewhere is practicing and when you meet him he will win your clients, because she/he is now the Master!!!!!"
- Perform 30 full sets - Once you have learnt the fundamentals (separation and 100% correct placement bonding) practice is your best teacher!
- You should regard your first 30 sets as practice. Preferably use models for this first phase and not clients.
- Submit 30 case studies (5 before and after photographs)
- 3D Lashes/A H Francis Master Level Technician Certification
- Buy DVD Winning formulas by Alison Francis & Co and start reviewing.
Phase 3
- Once you have performed at least 30 sets,
your eyelashes will start staying longer and
you will be able to perform a set in under
1 hour.
Phase 4
- You are ready to start your marketing programme
- You will now be ready to start experimenting with Y lashes and be more creative with coloured lashes, crystals and different lengths and thicknesses

In house training may be more cost effective for salons wishing to train a number of therapists. Please note that the maximum per day is six therapists and 3 couches will be required with magnifying lamps.
