Another year ahead of us!!! One of the things I always do is write my goals on 1st January and review last year’s goals at the end of the previous year. I find writing my goals focuses me and gives me clarity on what I want to achieve. It also makes me take action as I include a list of ‘daily habits’ that will support my goals. I suspect you have all heard of ‘The Secret’ where fundamentally it says whatever you focus your attention on grows. Unfortunately that includes negativity and failure. The most important thing I find is that you need to be alert to the signs your intuition is giving you and take notice. The Secret tells us that we can tap into the power of the universe as our thoughts affect the vibrations inside and around us which brings with it what we are focusing on.
I have heard people say that this stuff does not work, well, it only works if you follow the guidance of your intuition and take action. Taking no action will not make things happen, it is magic, but it’s not magic if you know what I mean! It has to be a joint effort! I thought it might be fun to share the categories I use for my goals. I then list under each category the relevant goals:-
- Daily habits
With my new goals in place I create daily habits and commitments to back them up. Here is an example of what you could have as a goal, daily habit and commitment….
Goal: I intend to get 10 new clients before the end of March 2014
Daily habits: Ask every client for a recommendation
Commitments: I commit to make a note of everyone I asked to give me a recommendation
My question to you, is do you know what you want for 2014? If you don’t know what you want, how can the universe deliver? Think about what you want, it really does help. For anyone interested here is the link to buy ‘The Secret’.
Have a wonderful new year.
All my love
