I know…we all get comfortable using products that we are happy with and know.
Then something new comes up that you really want to try, like our new MasterLash, but the whole idea of patch testing all the clients just puts you off. It’s natural to want to progress on to more advanced products and techniques, but the thought of it can send you off into chaos. The problem is, if you don’t move forward, you’ll get left behind.
It’s one of those things that feels like it’s a big nightmare, but actually, it is just a case of doing it slowly, one by one. I wouldn’t recommend ‘calling in’ all of your lash clients for a patch test appointment, that’s enough to put anyone off. The best way to introduce a new glue is to patch test as you go. If you’re doing lashes all day, just simply patch test when you have your client on your couch for her usual appointment.
I know it’s far too easy to not bother with a patch test, but it’s my duty to tell you that it’s not worth the risk.
It may be that nothing will happen to clients who have been having lashes for years, but you never know. The last thing you want is a client banging down your door with red swollen eyes because you did not patch test. If your clients see you being safe and professional, it will make them feel happier and trust you.
What happens when clients trust you?
They buy from you! Yes, if you look up the psychology of buying patterns, you’ll soon discover that people only buy from people they like and trust. When this happens, your clients will never look elsewhere. In this climate of fierce competition, building relationship and trust is vital to your business, otherwise clients will just slip through your fingers and you’ll always be struggling for clients.
Be sure you are using the right glue for your skill set. ProBlend is an incredibly popular, safe glue and gives you that little bit of extra time to make sure you get it right. MasterLash, however, is a new breed to super fast excellence for Lashpreneurs that have been doing lashes for years and do them all do long. It dries super fast enabling you to get your treatment times down.
If in doubt, we are here to help, just ask.
